I transformed my nursery into a room better suited for a growing toddler. I the rainbow wall and floating lanterns, cloud like curtains and a neutral rug to tie it all together.

The rainbow wall turned out beautifully and my daughter is in love. I left the room pretty much as it was, until my daughter was ready to transition into a toddler bed. I added a few lanterns, but it never felt quite right. So I set out to create a design that would help the space feel more complete and grow-up with my daughter.
Here is the e-design I came-up with using photoshop. We wanted to keep the toddler bed and create a more dedicated feel for the sleeping space now that my little toddler could get in and out of bed freely. Thank you to my friend who consulted with me on this design.
In the design, I moved the lanterns over into the corner and created a more waterfall look.
I wanted a rug that would bring in a warmer neutral tone because we have a lot going on with our rainbow wall. Then adding throw pillows and curtains always make a space feel more complete as well as an area rug.
